Robert’s legendary career began in 1986 as a factory team rider for GT Bicycles, where he went on to win three AFA National Championships. Driven to make a bigger impact, he stepped into the role of GT Bicycles Air Show Team Manager in 1995. For a decade, he spearheaded their marketing and collaborated closely with product development to help design some of the most iconic BMX bikes in history. By 1997, his leadership transformed the GT Air Show into the number-one traveling BMX stunt show in the nation.

As a rider, proven champion, and dynamic producer, Robert has performed at every major theme park and even featured his own act in the Las Vegas hit show “ALAKAZAM.” To date, he has performed, managed, or produced nearly 10,000 shows. Inspired by his mentors and GT Bicycles founders Gary Turner and Rich Long, Robert continues to ride, compete, and was inducted into the 2023 Texas BMX Hall of Fame.
